We are now officially well into the summer season, which often means family vacations or weekend trips to the beach, hiking gateways, or fruit picking to various farms. A lot of people enjoy picking strawberries, blueberries, or blackberries. Our clients usually head to the state of Michigan where there is a vast selection of family owned farms that only grow these 3 berries. Besides being able eat as you pick the berries, you can prepare preserves with these berries and store the well into the fall or winter season. Our stores carry a large selection of Polish jars that are specifically designed for making food preserves (konfitury).

These jars are especially useful when preparing a peck of pickles (ogorki kiszone). The jars’ large capacity and opening makes preparing the peck a piece of cake.
