Recently, I ran into an article which I wanted to share with you. As the title of the post hints, the article focuses on the idea that drinking tea is healthier than water, according to British nutritionists. Drinking three or more cups of tea each day is equal to or better than drinking plenty of water. The study in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition debunks the common belief that tea dehydrates your body. Tea not only rehydrates, but it also helps protect against heart disease as well as some cancers, the research has found. Flavonoids are believed to be the main reason that make tea a strong promoter of health. Drinking several cups of each a day helps reduce the chance of a heart attack as the research finds, and the antioxidants found in tea leaves have show to prevent cell damage.

Other studies have found more evidence that show the benefits of tea drinking. They include the protection against tooth plaque and potential tooth decay, and bone strengthening.
